Brisbane Roar will be sweating on goalkeeper Jamie Young's fitness after he suffered a nasty injury to his right forearm when he collided with the post in Wednesday's 3-0 loss to Muang Thong United.
Young sustained an ugly deep gash which required urgent medical attention when he attempted to save Xisco's header for Muang Thong's opening goal in the AFC Champions League (ACL) clash.
Friday night's penalty shootout hero dived to his right but struck an exposed metal rung on the post, which cut open his elbow/forearm.
Blood immediately streamed from a deep gash in Young's arm and he was substituted needing urgent stitches and medical treatment.
The problem is a major worry for Brisbane who lost number one goalkeeper Michael Theo for the remainder of the season to injury in Friday's dramatic win over Western Sydney.
Brisbane faces Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park in an A-League semi-final on Sunday.

Youth goalkeeper Tomislav Bilic, 19, replaced Young after 38 minutes and played out the remainder of the ACL clash.
Bilic will likely get the nod if Young isn't declared fit to face Victory.

The circumstances behind the incident were condemned by Fox Sports commentator Andy Harper.
"How does this get through?" Harper said during the coverage.
It was also widely criticised on social media, including from Roar managing director Mark Kingsman.
@brisbaneroar How can this be allowed in our elite club competition? pic.twitter.com/58jaqq2kIj

massive controversy brewing here. the AFC should come down hard if a rusty old goalpost has caused a serious injury #MUAvBRI

Disgrace. How does that goal in that condition pass muster.
