OLYROO Ruben Zadkovich celebrated his belated Derby County debut with a goal as the former Sydney FC man swooped to rescue a draw for his side.
It may only have been a reserve game but the second string game against Walsall gave boss Paul Jewell his first chance to check out Zadko.
The Olyroo has been recovering from surgery following a groin injury and this marked his first competitive action since joining the club.
Derby were trailing 2-1 before Zadko pounced with a diving header 20 minutes from the end.
Speaking ahead of the clash boss Jewell told the Derby Telegraph: "I have only ever seen him in training and playing for Australia.
"Ruben is very enthusiastic. He has got a great attitude and will be looking forward to the game."
