If you google Adrian Zahra, there is a good chance ‘Adrian Zahra Kevin Muscat’ would come up in your top suggestions.
The 26-year-old was with Melbourne City, then Heart in their inaugural season as current Victory coach and then-captain Kevin Muscat took out Zahra.
The tackle saw Muscat receive a straight red card from referee Chris Beath in a Melbourne derby which finished 2-2 in 2011.
Zahra was ruled out for the rest of the 2010/11 season with a serious knee injury with Muscat receiving an eight-match suspension.
The video of the famous tackle has just under one million views on YouTube and many fans regard the incident as something that tarnished Zahra’s career.
Zahra went on to have stints with Perth Glory and Maltese side Valletta and has played football in the NPL ever since, now at his third club, Heidelberg United in Melbourne.
Over five years on, Zahra also said that he has no bitter feelings towards the incident.
“I think it’s that far past that there can’t be any sourness now, I’ve moved on,” Zahra said.
"I think everyone has moved on and the fact that it still comes up is beyond me. It’s one of those things now that I don’t think too much about.
“People don’t bring it up too often, not anymore. Obviously you’d get the odd person that would sit there and they’ll make a comment on it or mention it asking ‘did you speak to him?’.
“They’re just the general questions that’ll be with me for the rest of my life.”
He also said he had plenty more to give and still eyes an A-League return.
“I hope that’s not what I’m only remembered for but if it is, then that’s something I’ve got to take and just move on with,” Zahra said.
“It’s not something I think about too much but when it comes I’m happy to answer questions and go from there.”

Zahra will come up against former side Glory on August 1 in the FFA Cup and he admitted he would use the game as a shop window to potentially get himself back to Australian football’s top flight.
“I think that’s on everyone’s agenda without lying, but it’s not the main focus,” Zahra said.
“We’ve concentrated on what we’ve achieved as a team this year and where we are, getting that club in the FFA Cup was a bonus and we’re trying to see where we are as a team.
“Hopefully we can go as far as we can with this cup and if individuals shine out then it’s a massive bonus for everyone.”
