Veteran striker Kiatisak 'Zico' Senamuang has been named in Thailand's 30-man preliminary squad ahead of July's Asian Cup.
The squad, who are currently in Germany preparing for the continental showpiece, must be cut to 23 ahead of the tournament opener against Iraq on July 7 in Bangkok.
Senamuang, 33, is expected to recover from injury in time to be named in the final squad after coming off the bench during the 3-1 friendly defeat by Holland earlier this month.
The talismanic forward had missed the 1-0 victory against China through injury.
Singapore Armed Forces' veteran midfielder Therdsak Chaiman has also been named in the squad after featuring against China.
Therdsak was unavailable for the defeat by Holland due to club commitments in Singapore after missing the victory over Vietnam in the four-team King's Cup friendly tournament last December and the ASEAN Football Championship held the following month.
Thailand team manager Kittirat Na Ranong has revealed the team have been studying footage of their opponents ahead of the Group A encounters with Australia, Oman and Iraq.
"We have got a tape of Iraq playing a warm-up match with Jordan," he told the Bangkok Post. "It is good for us and we will all be looking at it to try and get some ideas."
