Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is set to feature on the FIFA 20 Ultimate Edition cover, revealed by EA Sports late last night.

The French legend will join new Madrid signing Eden Hazard and Champions League winner Virgil van Dijk as the FIFA 20 cover stars.

It was also confirmed that Zidane will receive an Icon card and be playable in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team.

The decision to have three separate cover stars for three separate editions of the game comes after FIFA lost the rights to use last year's cover star Cristiano Ronaldo image.

Ronaldo's club Juventus signed an exclusive deal with FIFA's biggest competitor Pro Evolution Soccer, meaning the Italian club will have to feature under the fake name of 'Piemonte Calcio' in FIFA 20.

However, FIFA seems to have fought back in the eSports battle, with the likes of Ronald Koeman, Ian Wright, Andrea Pirlo, Didier Drogba and Zinedine Zidane himself joining FUT as Icons.

FIFA 20 is also set to feature a new game mode called Volta, which is a throwback to previous versions of FIFA Street that were widely popular on older consoles.

FIFA 20 is set to be released on September 27 in Australia, and if you pre-order the Ultimate Edition with Zidane's face front and centre you'll be able to pick up the game three days early.
