The Swedish striker claimed yesterday that he was getting old and that he would want to retire from football when he is still at the top of his game.

"Milan can be calm," Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola said to Gazzetta dello Sport. "He was just upset with last weekend's defeat against Juventus, but he will return to be the real Ibrahimovic in a couple of days.

"I spoke to him yesterday and he isn't as down as some of his words would suggest.

"It's evident that he doesn't have the same motivation as he had three years ago, but he will play on until he's 35.

"I don't know if he'll stay at Milan for another five years, as that depends on the club."

The former Ajax, Juventus and Barcelona star, who turned 30 earlier this month, is under contract with the Rossoneri outfit until June 2015.

Injuries have limited Ibrahimovic to just two league appearances this season, including last weekend's 2-0 defeat at Juventus.
