Players such as Ibrahim Afellay, Marc Bartra and Jonathan dos Santos have been heavily linked with moves away from the Camp Nou, and Barca sporting director Zubizarreta has said the club is willing to do business if the conditions are right.

"We like our squads to be fairly compact. Until the market closes, we have some interesting options to look into," Zubizarreta said.

"We are working with some agents to see if we can find the best places for some of the players to develop their careers."

According to Zubizarreta, Barca do not intend to further strengthen their squad before the transfer window shuts, with just Jordi Alba and Alex Song having arrived to date.

"As for further signings, we don't have any plans. We have the squad we want," he said.
