Dusan Djuric opened the scoring in the 10th minute and Alain Rochat doubled the hosts' lead in the 68th minute before Xavier Margairaz added a third seven minutes later.

Substitute Mauro Lustrinelli pulled one back for Bellinzona in the 78th minute but Andres Vasquez restored Zurich's three-goal advantage right at the death.

Bellinzona remain rock bottom with one point from three games while Zurich, having played a game more, are now a point above Neuchatel Xamax who drew 1-1 at St Gallen.

Mario Gavranovic gave the visitors the lead in the 14th minute but St Gallen equalised in the 67th minute through substitute Modou Jagne who had been on the pitch for less than 60 seconds.

St Gallen are in third, level on points with Neuchatel who have a game in hand.
