SAO PAULO, March 6 (Campeonato Paulista) - Veteran striker Edmundo is considering delaying his retirement due to his current success with Campeonato Paulista giants Palmeiras.
The 35-year-old striker has a contract with the club until the end of this year, but admits he may shelve plans to quit after it expires because of the "feel-good" factor he is currently experiencing.
Edmundo starred in Palmeiras' 3-0 win against Corinthians on Sunday.
"My team-mates are angry with me because they believe I should not talk about giving up, but football is really tough nowadays," he said.
"However, I am enjoying so much being here at Palmeiras that I don't know now when I will stop.
"As long as I feel good, I want to go on."
