France midfielder Lucas Hernandez said on Sunday night that his side were going to celebrate their 2018 FIFA World Cup victory with a non-stop party.
France beat Croatia 4-2 in the final at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium to lift their second World Cup trophy.
"We haven't realised yet what it means to be the world champions," Hernandez said.
"We'll have a party now, and tomorrow we'll continue partying in Paris. And no one will stop our celebration.
Of his own performance he added: "My pass to (forward) Kylian Mbappe? Frankly speaking, I was exhausted, I passed to Mbappe with my last strength, as I knew he'd be able to turn this moment into a goal. I'm just happy now."
Russia's first-ever FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and came to a close on Monday (AEST)with 64 games played in 11 cities across the country.
