"I will announce the starting line-up tomorrow. [Strikers] Farfan and Guerrero are great players, but it's too early to say whether the two of them will be in the starting line-up or not. And I would not focus only on them, they are making progress, but the whole team is doing so as well," Gareca said.

Peru's all-time top goalscorer Guerrero could have missed the World Cup after being banned by CAS for 14 months in May for failing a doping test. The player appealed to the Swiss Federal Supreme Court, which agreed to lift the ban completely, allowing the player to take part in the tournament.

Peru, who are currently bottom of Group C, lost 1-0 to Denmark in their first World Cup match in Saransk, with Guerrero coming on from the bench midway through the second half.
