Australia earned a last gasp 2-1 victory against Hungary in a pre-World Cup friendly at the Groupama Arena in Budapest on Saturday.
Melbourne City and Australia midfielder Daniel Arzani scored the opening goal in the 74th minute after a goalkeeper error failed to stop his shot, Hungary equalised in the 88th minute courtesy of Grasshoppers and Australia defender Trent Sainsbury's own goal.
However, Hungary defender Tamas Kadar scored another own goal in stoppage time, to give Australia the win.
Australia will play in Group C along with France, Peru and Denmark at the World Cup, which gets underway next week. Hungary last qualified for the FIFA World Cup in 1986.
This year’s tournament will take place between June 14 and July 15 at 12 stadiums across 11 cities in Russia.
