Colombia defender Yerry Mina said that his team's defeat to England in the World Cup round of 16 was a "tremendous blow" for the South American side.
Colombia were eliminated from the World Cup after losing to England 4-3 on penalties in Moscow on Tuesday, after regulation and extra time ended 1-1.
England captain Harry Kane opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 57th minute before Mina canceled out his goal with a towering header from a corner in stoppage time.
"It was a tremendous blow, we did not deserve to lose, we did more than England and it's a pity we could not decide the match before the penalties," said the towering 23-year-old.
"It's a blow for the whole team. I thank God because he allowed me to score such an important goal for my country and I really thought that we could win after that."
