Colombia midfielder James Rodriguez was named the man of the match after setting up two goals for his team in the Group H game against Poland, FIFA said via the tournament's official Twitter account on Sunday.
The match took place at the Kazan Arena and ended in a comfortable 3-0 victory for the Colombian side, which eliminates Poland from the World Cup. Colombia can still reach the round of 16, but must beat Senegal in their final group game.
Rodriguez provided two assists for his teammates during the game, first for Yerry Mina, who buried the ball into the net with a header, which gave his side the lead, and then an exquisite pass for Juan Cuadrado, who scored Colombia's third.
Colombia have three points so far and currently sit third in Group H behind Senegal and Japan, who both have four points.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and will continue until July 15, with the matches being played in 11 cities across Russia.
