Renowned Russian opera singers Anna Netrebko and operatic soprano Aida Garifullina will perform at the concert as well as other world-famous classical music artists, including legendary French-Italian tenor Roberto Alagna, who will be the special guest of the night.

The singers will be accompanied by St. Petersburg's Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra with maestro Valery Gergiev conducting proceedings.

Russia will host its first World Cup from June 14 to July 15. The fixtures will be played at 12 stadiums across 11 cities - Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Saransk, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Volgograd, and Samara.
