MOSCOW, June 4 (Sputnik) - CSKA Moscow and Russia midfielder Aleksandr Golovin should join French side Paris Saint-Germain, football agent Dmitry Selyuk told Sputnik on Monday.
The media had earlier reported that Monaco were interested in signing the 22-year-old, but the rumors were denied by Golovin’s agent Oleg Artyomov.
"Monaco are a good option for Golovin, young players can develop there, but in my opinion he should only join Paris Saint-Germain and no other French side,” Selyuk said.
He added that the midfielder’s best option would be to move to Spain.
Golovin was included in Russia’s FIFA World Cup squad. The tournament will take place in 11 Russian cities from June 14 to July 15.
