The Qatar authorities have asked their Moscow colleagues to share their expertise with them after the Russian capital hosted 12 matches of this summer's FIFA World Cup, Deputy Moscow Mayor Petr Biryukov said on Wednesday.
The Persian Gulf nation will host the next World Cup from November 21 to December 18, 2022.
"Yes, they have already asked us to share with them that experience, which we have had during the preparations [to host the tournament] and during the World Cup," Biryukov told journalists at a press conference at the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency.
Russia's first-ever FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and came to a close on Sunday with 64 games played in 11 cities across the country.
