In scoring his 85th goal for Portugal top open the scoring against Morocco, Cristiano Ronaldo became Europe's all-time top international goalscorer.
He broke the 62-year-old record held by Hungary's Ferenc Puskas.
The goal in question was a diving header into the roof of the net just four minutes into the Group B encounter.
Ronaldo needs just another 25 goals for his country to overtake former Iran striker Ali Daei as the world's all-time leading international goalscorer.
Daei netted 109 goals in 149 caps.
