MOSCOW, June 4 (Sputnik) - Russia head coach Stanislav Cherchesov said on Monday that he was sure he would remain in charge of the national team after the 2018 FIFA World Cup, set to be held in Russia this summer.
"I am sure it will be," Cherchesov said when asked if there will be an anniversary of his appointment as Russia head coach.
Cherchesov took charge of the Russian national football team in August 2016.
Russia will host its first-ever World Cup from June 14 to July 15, with the hosts set to face Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay in Group A.
