President of the Russian Olympic Committee Stanislav Pozdnyakov said on Sunday that the 2018 World Cup final match was "fantastic" and "exciting."
On Sunday, France beat Croatia 4-2 at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium to lift their second World Cup trophy.
"The World Cup was unique. The final match was fantastic, it was exciting - just like the whole tournament. As a [football] fan I can say that such games make sports brighter," Pozdnyakov told journalists.
