The X 17 will be worn for the first time when Real take on Juve.
adidas are churning up a Dust Storm and blowing it Cardiff way on Sunday morning as they launch their next-generation X 17 boot ahead of the 2017 Champions League Final in the Welsh capital.
Dropping as part of the final collection of the season the X 17 will be worn for the first time when Real Madrid take on Juventus this weekend.
We've already been introduced to the Nemeziz 17+ 360 Agility and now adidas have boosted their 'Dust Storm' collection with the addition of a next-gen X 17. The X silo receives a new generation design almost exactly a year since the boot launched ahead of the 2016 European Championships, and with it comes a few subtle tech updates.
Arriving in a striking grey and turquoise colourway, the X 17+ once again features a lace cover with Non Stop Grip technology for increased ball control and Purecut Sock System for added compression.
Elsewhere, the SprintFrame soleplate is retained from the previous generation and oversized 'X' branding comes into play on the instep of the boot. The X 17.1 edition without lace cover also forms part of the 'Dust Storm' collection, along with a cage version for small-sided football.
Featuring an upper design that reveals the knitted PrimeKnit material, creating a dotted effect. The boots come with a large Adidas branding on the outstep and the big NSG branding on the instep.
The Adidas X 17+ PureChaos has a perforated techfit compression upper with a NSG (Non-Stop Grip) texture to improve ball control under all conditions. The upper of the Adidas X 17+ PureChaos boots is lighter than the one of the Adidas X 16+ and better connected to the sock to create a seamless fit.
Player wise, you'll be looking at the likes of Karim Benzema, Alvaro Morata, Gareth Bale and Juan Cuadrado in the adidas X 17 come Saturday night. A brand new Nemeziz silo, updated X 17 generation, and two adidas clubs going head to head for European football's biggest prize; that's as strong a way as any to see the season out.
