On Friday, a large box, from Nike, with the words 'fragile' rocked up at FTBL HQ.

Immediately, we knew we were in for something special.

With Nike dropping their brand new Mercurial 360 earlier this month, FTBL were given the chance to get up close and go hands on with the release.

We were indeed treated to something special, receiving a limited-edition release box, which came with a chain and even a lock, allowing us to literally unlock speed.

The first thing we noticed straight away, was the jaw-dropping soleplate, which is a continuation of the upper, with no divide.

It's fair to say the Mercurial 360 by Nike has changed the way we as fans and brands alike will look at soleplates and the design of a football boot.
