EXCLUSIVE: Kiwi star Marco Rojas says three upcoming games at home in front of the A-League’s biggest fan-base will be vital in finding a winning pattern for inconsistent Melbourne Victory.

Victory face the struggling Reds at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night sitting in seventh spot on the ladder after five draws, two wins and two losses.
It’s not been a solid start to the season for Victory whose next away game is not until New Year’s Eve in Brisbane.
With that in mind, the former Phoenix rising star is keen to see Victory make the most of this home run.
“We’re doing everything we can to make sure we get the three points against Adelaide,” the winger told au.fourfourtwo.com.
“We’ve got three home games including this one coming up so we’ve got to make sure we pick up maximum points."
After the Reds, a home fixture against Phoenix is followed by the big Melbourne derby against Heart at AAMI Park.
“The key is consistency,” he stressed.
Victory are yet to string together a run of good results with last week’s loss coming off the back of a gutsy three pointer over Gold Coast.
To promote the Reds clash in Melbourne, assistant coach at Victory Kevin Muscat and former Adelaide coach John Kosmina fronted the media this morning.
The pair were involved in one of the most talked about incidents in A-League history during the Victory versus Reds clash in 2006 when Kosmina grabbed Muscat by the throat on the sidelines.
It helped stoke one of the biggest A-League rivalries.
“Melbourne Victory is a big club and the supporters are a huge fanbase. And so we’ve got to make sure we perform week in week out,” the 19-year-old Rojas added.
“It’s no use performing one week then not getting the result the next.”
Rojas spoke with FourFourTwo Australia magazine for the upcoming “Mini Maestros” feature which also spotlights Central Coast Mariners’ Mustafa Amini.
In it Rojas talks about his All-White career and what he is learning from the likes of Harry Kewell, Archie Thompson and Carlos Hernandez.
Meanwhile, Melbourne Heart say they will continue to work with the Latrobe City Council for another A-League game in Morwell following last weekend’s “regional” A-League fixture against Wellington.
The game attracted just under 3000 fans on a pristine pitch at former home of NSL club Morwell Falcons. “But as always it comes down to FFA,” Heart CEO Scott Munn told au.fourfourtwo.com.
