Hamilton have signed the 19-year-old nephew of former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
Nigel Hasselbaink is also a centre-forward and has joined Hamilton from PSV Eindhoven.
The teenager had a spell on loan with Go Ahead Eagles last season and has scored several goals during trial matches for Accies following a similar trial period with Dundee United.
Manager Billy Reid told www.acciesfc.co.uk: "Nigel gives us more options up front, he is pacy and has a good shot. I've liked what I've seen in him."
Hamilton hope to have international clearance through for Hasselbaink to appear in tomorrow's Co-operative Insurance Cup second-round clash against Raith in Kirkcaldy.
But they are confident of at least having him available for Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League trip to Inverness.
