The Syrian side had reached the break with a two-goal advantage thanks to strikes from Feras Ismail and Ziad Chabo.

Chabo added his second after the break before Mohamad Al Hamwi scored his side's fourth goal late on.

Mohammed Al Shehhi grabbed a consolation for Al Wahda with seven minutes remaining.

Al Karama made the ideal start to the game when they opened the scoring in the third minute.

Midfielder Aatef Jenniat crossed from the right and though the ball was initially cleared by Al Wahda defenders, Al Karama midfielder Feras Ismail was in the right place to pounce and fire beyond Moroccan goalkeeper Nadir Lamyaghri.

Al Karama scored again in the 27th minute when Jenniat's cross was volleyed home by Ziad Chabo.

Al Karama kept up the pressure after the break and added a third in the 49th minute when Chabo quickly reacted to a rebound from Mohamad Al Hamwi's shot and smashed the ball into the roof of the net.

Al Wahda nearly reduced the deficit two minutes later when United Arab Emirates international midfielder Haider Alo Ali had only the goalkeeper to beat but Mosab Balhous saved well with his feet.

And Al Karama grabbed a fourth with 20 minutes remaining when Jehad Al Hussain played a long free kick into the area which Mohamad Al Hamwi latched onto before drilling a low shot into the net.

Al Wahda scored their consolation goal in the 83rd minute when second half substitute Saleh Al Menhali back-heeled to Mohamed Al Shehhi and the 19-year-old striker beat Balhous with a low drive.
