Krung Thai Bank picked up their first points in the Asian Champions League in style with an emphatic 9-1 thrashing of Nam Dinh on Wednesday.
Kassim Kone led the way with four goals, while Nantawat Thaensopa bagged a hat-trick and Pichitpong Choechiu and Thanut Wongsuparak got one each in the one-sided Group F clash.
Tran Duc Duong scored a consolation for the visitors.
Both teams went into the game without a point from their previous two games in the tournament.
The Thai side were beaten 9-1 by Kashima Antlers in their first ever Champions League game before going down 4-2 against Beijing Guo'an.
But they dished out a drubbing of their own to Nam Dinh, Kone setting the ball rolling in the fourth minute.
Thaensopa made it 2-0 three minutes later before Kone killed the game as a contest just before the break.
Namh Dinh capitulated in the second-half and Nantawat capitalised on a defensive error to run through on goal before smashing the ball into the net for his side's fourth.
He completed his hat-trick in the 59th minute before Phichitpong Cheiuchiew added another from a free-kick four minutes later.
Midfielder Duong pulled one back for the visitors in the 64th minute, but it provided little cause for celebration.
Tanat Wongsupphalak made it 7-1 with 20 minutes remaining, and Kone took the hosts' goal tally up to nine and his personal total to four with a quickfire brace in the closing stages.
