Real Madrid goalkeeper Antonio Adan insists there is no problem between coach Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo.
A number of reports from Spain suggested a confrontation took place between the Portuguese duo after Madrid's 2-0 Copa del Rey win over Valencia earlier this week, but the 25-year-old said there is no truth in these rumours.
"This confrontation didn't even happen. The coach gave an opinion and the player gave his. We are all adults," Adan told the club's official website.
"You can always have different opinions, with the player showing the utmost respect towards the coach and the coach towards the player in a conversation, even if the opinions are opposed."
Adan discussed his relationship with Iker Casillas, and made it clear the Spain international is very supportive.
"Our relationship is very good. I have already said that apart from being team-mates we're friends, too. He has been great with me," he said.
"Casillas is the captain of Real Madrid and Spain. He brings together all the values of a footballer and a team-mate and has helped me at all times and given me his support and trust."
Adan has made six appearances in all competitions for Madrid so far this term.
