Adelaide United welcomed Perth Glory to Coopers Stadium in The Remembrance Round. Both teams were coming off convincing wins last time out, and with top spot on the ladder up for grabs - resulting from Sydney’s draw last night - a crucial three points for both sides.
Adelaide United 0-2 Perth Glory
Pitch perfect for Sunday football in Adelaide, and Perth Glory took full advantage of the conditions.
Glory's discipline, organisation and their pressing game was something to behold, allowing no time on the ball for Adelaide, who did try to move the play about.
Tony Popovic's men were worthy winners on the day, with goals from Andy Keogh and Chris Ikonomidis enough to fire Perth two points clear at the top of the table.

ADELAIDE UNITED RATINGS
Paul Izzo - 6
Izzo was the busier of the two keepers, playing the ball out from the back, producing quality saves to keep the score line to just 2 goals.
Scott Galloway - 4
Pressed by Perth's forwards and struggled throughout the game. Too slow going forward down the right- hand side.
Jordan Elsey - 5
Had a decent game, looked solid, dealing with constant crosses and held his defensive line well.
Michael Jakobsen - 7
Solid at the back, commanding his area well, putting in timely challenges when needed.
Ryan Strain - 5
Slow to start, got turned by Joel Chianese too easily. Better later on in the game
