ADELAIDE United has announced the signing of exciting 26-year-old Argentine forward Jeronimo Morales Neumann, who has agreed to terms with the club pending a medical.
Neumann, who last season played in the Argentine second division with Independiente Rivadavia Mendoza, is a product of famed club River Plate and has also played at Estudiantes alongside the Reds other Argentine import Marcelo Carrusca.
Reds coach John Kosmina expects Jeronimo to add an extra dimension to the Reds attack.
“Jeronimo has played over 100 senior games in Argentina with some very good clubs and has also had experience abroad," Kosmina said.
"He is a versatile forward who has a bit of pace and is a good finisher. He will add some quality to what is a very competitive and balanced squad."
Neumann is expected to arrive in Adelaide next week and provided he passes his medical will join the Reds initially on a one season term for the 2012/13 Hyundai A-League season.
