In Group F, Urawa Red Diamonds kept their hopes of reaching the knockout stages alive with a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Guangzhou Evergrande.

Guangzhou would have guaranteed top spot in Group F with a win in Japan and the Chinese club started well with Lucas Barrios' 37th-minute goal.

But six minutes into the second half and Urawa equalised through Shinzo Koroki before Yuki Abe gave the hosts the lead in the 63rd minute.

A penalty from Marcio Richardes extended Urawa's lead four minutes later and while Muriqui pulled a goal back for Evergrande in the 87th minute, the home side held on for a crucial win.

The victory has taken Urawa to seven points, two behind second-placed Jeonbuk Motors, who defeated Muang Thong United 2-0.

In other results, FC Seoul extended their lead in Group E with a 2-0 away win over Jiangsu Sainty, while Buriram United and Vegalta Sendai drew 1-1.
