The Serie A giants have lost key players such as Thiago Silva, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alessandro Nesta and Clarence Seedorf.

Allegri, whose team finished second to Juventus in the league last season, is confident of bringing in adequate replacements.

"The club knows very well what we need and we have talked about it," Allegri told the club's website.

"We will work with these players for now, and the transfer market will bring new players from now until August 31."

Allegri discussed his side's performances at Saturday's Trofeo TIM, where they lost 1-0 to Juventus and 2-1 to Inter Milan.

"The lads played two good matches. We made a few mistakes that led to the goals. We played better in the second match in terms of our technique, and I am pleased as it was only our second outing," he said.

"We had a lot of young players but those who played at the Euros will be back now."

Inter won the Trofeo TIM after recording victories over both Juventus and AC Milan in the traditional pre-season tournament on Saturday.
