Allsopp, 30, who left the A-League champions last September, has enjoyed a relatively successful spell with the cashed up Q-League outfit.

The former Hull City and South Melbourne striker has scored six times in 12 appearances for his new club but was not selected for the Socceroos' Asian Cup qualifiers in Kuwait on Wednesday or in Oman last November.

Since Allsopp left Melbourne, Victory have lost striker Ney Fabiano who's returned to Thailand while on-loan Thai international Sutee Suksomkit ended his spell at the club late in December.

Allsopp could now be home again in time to join Melbourne Victory for their Asian Champions League campaign.
