Socceroos skipper Mile Jedinak put in a full shift at centre-back overnight as Aston Villa grabbed a last-gasp equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Brentford in the Championship.
Making his third start of the season, Jedinak was once again used in central defence by Villa boss Steve Bruce.
The jury remains out on Jedinak's ability as a centre-back, with plenty of Villa fans questioning Bruce's decision to persist with him there.
Villa went behind twice before a 95th minute goal from Jonathan Kodjia earned them a point.
Just got back from villa park. Can’t complain about the performance.

Thought we played well.
Worries me that he’s so insistent on Jedinak at centre back though. #AVFC
Some really good signs tonight. Found space, played some good stuff, worked hard and found the spirit to get a deserved equaliser. But if Bruce continues with Jedinak at CB he’ll deserve all the shit he gets. An absolute liability. #AVFC

Any one with an ounce of football knowledge would only play jedinak if desperate much better just in front of defence

Adam Federici was an unused sub as Stoke City lost 3-0 at home to Wigan Athletic.
In League One, Cameron Burgess put in a full shift as Scunthorpe were humbled 5-0 at home by Fleetwood Town.
