Melbourne City coach Joe Montemurro has left the club to take up a position with English giants Arsenal.
Montemurro, who won the W-League Championship with Melbourne City, has become the new coach of the Arsenal Women's side.
The 48-year-old links up with the FA Women's Super League outfit as soon as regulatory processes are complete.
Arsenal are fourth in the FA WSL after four games, with two wins a draw and a loss.
"I feel honoured and humbled to join Arsenal," Montemurro said.
"I'm excited by the challenge and I am really looking forward to working with the talented staff and players at this great club."
