Former Werribee City midfielder Daniel Baggio has gone on trial with Dutch club FC Twente.
Baggio has started a two week trial with the Eredivisie side.
He hails from Melbourne and has represented Victoria at Under-13 and Under-14 level.
Baggio spent the 2015 season with Hume City's Under-16s, scoring 10 goals in 25 games, before joining Italian club Sampdoria.
The central midfielderr made five appearances for Sampdoria's Under-17's last season before departing the club and returning to Australia with Werribee.
Now 18, he is now hoping to win a contract at FC Twente before his trial ends on March 14.
