Aussies returned from injury, Aussies made debuts for their clubs, and of course we had Aussies on the scoresheet. It was a fruitful week for our players abroad with five goal scorers and plenty of great results.
UK
In the English Premier League Mat Ryan played a full match in goal while Aaron Mooy played 10 minutes off the bench in Brighton's 1-1 draw with Burnley.
Both Socceroos played a full match earlier in the week in Australia's World Cup Qualifying win over Kuwait.
In the Scottish Premiership Tom Rogic made his return from injury, playing just under half an hour for Celtic in their narrow 1-0 win over Hamilton.

Lyndon Dykes started and was sent off after 73 minutes as Livingston went down 3-1 to Steven Gerrard's Rangers. Oliver Bozanic was absent for Hearts' 3-2 loss to Motherwell.
In the Championship Jackson Irvine played 90 minutes and Callum Elder made his debut at left back for Hull City as they drew 2-2 at home with Wigan Athletic.
Adam Federici dropped back to the bench for Stoke City as they lost 2-1 to Bristol City. Bailey Wright was still absent for Bristol due to an ongoing knee injury.
Massimo Luongo was an unused sub for Sheffield Wednesday as they recorded an important 2-0 win away against Huddersfield Town.
In English League One, Scottish-Australian player Jason Cummings scored his first goal for his new club Shrewsbury Town, netting an equaliser against Wimbledon five minutes after coming on in the 68th minute.
Ryan Edwards played 90 minutes for Burton Albion who drew 0-0 with Coventry City. Southend United got their first point of the season while Mark Milligan was absent injured. They drew 3-3 with Fleetwood Town for whom Harry Souttar played nine minutes off the bench.
Ryan Williams made his debut for Portsmouth FC playing 19 minutes off the bench in a 3-0 win over Norwich City U21 in the Football League Trophy.
In League Two action Cameron Burgess made his league debut for Salford City, replacing an injured defender in the 36th minute as Salford lost 2-0 to Cheltenham. Jack Iredale played a full match at left back for Carlisle in a 3-2 victory over Stevenage away from home.
In the English youth leagues Alex Robertson played a full game for Manchester City U18 as they beat Liverpool U18 5-2. Peter Gwargis started and played 69 minutes for Brighton U23s as they were defeated 2-1 by Chelsea U23. Tyrese Francois was absent from Fulham U23s loss to Manchester United U23s.
Ben Folami made his return after a long recovery from injury for Ipswich Town U23s. Folami played an hour as Ipswich lost 3-1 to Nottingham Forest.

Oscar Woods played 90 minutes for Burnley U18s as they lost 3-1 to Watford U18s. Caleb Watts played the first half of Southampton U18s 5-1 loss to Fulham U18s.
EUROPE
In Germany Mat Leckie was absent from Hertha Berlin's squad as they lost 2-1 to Mainz. Berlin are now bottom of the Bundesliga with just one point from four matches. Brandon Borrello was an unused sub for SC Freiburg as they shocked Hoffenheim with a 3-0 win away from home.
John Iredale played 90 minutes for Wolfsburg II as they drew 1-1 with SSV Jeddeloh. Jacob Italiano played 27 minutes off the bench while Christian Theoharous was an unused sub as Borussia Mönchengladbach II lost 5-3 to SC Verl. Jacob Young made his first appearance for Hoffenheim II coming on in the 79th minute as they lost 1-0 to FC Homburg.
In the Netherlands Ajdin Hrustic played 90 minutes and scored his second goal of the season as FC Groningen went down 2-1 away to VVV-Venlo.

Ryan and Declan Lambert were on the bench for Den Bosch in their 2-2 draw with NEC Nijmegen. Daniel Bouman was an unused sub for SC Cambuur as they beat Helmond Sport 5-1.
In Austria James Holland played 90 minutes for LASK Linz as they secured a crucial 2-0 win away from home to Sturm Graz. Jimmy Jeggo was an unused sub as Austria Wien lost 3-0 to Wolfsberg.
In Denmark Alex Gersbach made his debut for AGF and Zach Duncan played 90 minutes as they defeated Marstal 6-2 in the second round. Mustafa Amini was on international duty. Later in the week Amini played 90 minutes, Duncan played 11 minutes off the bench and Gersbach was unused as AGF defeated Aalborg 3-0 at home.
Awer Mabil scored his second league goal of the season for FC Midtjylland as they defeated Lyngby 3-0.
In Croatia Fran Karacic played a full game for NK Lokomotiva as they drew 0-0 with HNK Gorica.
In Serbia Milos Degenek played 90 minutes for Red Star Belgrade in their 2-1 win over FK Indjija.
In Turkey Aziz Behich was an unused sub for Basaksehir as they drew 1-1 with Sivasspor.
In Israel Nikita Rukavytsya scored and played 65 minutes while Trent Sainsbury played 90 minutes in Maccabi Haifa's 2-0 win over Shmona.
In Switzerland Liam Chipperfield played an hour for FC Basel U18s as they defeated Lausanne 5-1.

In Japan Ange Postecoglou's Yokohama F Marinos pulled themselves back into the title race with a big 3-0 win over Sanfrecce Hiroshima. Yokahama sit in third and are four points from top. Mitchell Langerak played a full match in goal for Nagoya Grampus in a 3-2 loss to Shimizu S-Pulse.

In Korea, Adam Taggart played a full match and Terry Antonis started and played 70 minutes for Suwon Bluewings as they drew 0-0 with Seongnam. Bernie Ibini was absent from Jeonbuk Hyundai's squad that won 2-1 over Sangju Sangmu. Rashid Mahazi was absent from Incheon United as they lost 3-1 to FC Seoul.
In Saudi Arabia Craig Goodwin played a full game for Al-Wehda in their 2-1 win over Al Ahli. Brad Jones kept a clean sheet for Al Nassr as they drew 0-0 with Al Shabab.
In Uzbekistan Steven Lustica played 90 minutes for Qizilqum in a 0-0 draw with Nazaf Qarshi.
In Hong Kong Jared Lum played a full game and scored for Kitchee in a 2-2 draw with Yuen Long. Travis Major scored three minutes into his match as Southern District drew 2-2 with Warriors.

Andy Rose played a full game for Vancouver Whitecaps in midfield as they defeated Houston Dynamo 2-1.
Jesse Daley played a full match while Antonee-Burke Gilroy was absent from the squad as Seattle Sounders II lost 5-0 to Reno 1868.
In South Africa Kearyn Baccus played 90 minutes for Kaizer Chiefs in a 1-0 loss to Polokwane City.
