In the English Premier League Mat Ryan kept a clean sheet and Aaron Mooy was an unused sub as Brighton and Hove Albion defeated Watford 3-0.

In the Scottish Premiership Lyndon Dykes played a full game for Livingston in a 2-2 draw with St Johnstone. Oliver Bozanic played 13 minutes off the bench for Hearts in a 0-0 draw with Ross County.
In the English Championship, and by popular demand, Aussie referee Jared Gillett refereed Swansea City's 0-0 draw with Derby County. The ref gave a penalty to Derby which wasn't converted and three yellow cards.
Jackson Irvine scored in Hull City's 2-1 win over Reading. Irvine assisted last week for Hull and has kept his August form up with a goal.

Massimo Luongo made his debut for Sheffield Wednesday, coming on with ten minutes to play in a 2-0 win over Barnsley, for whom Kenny Dougall was absent. Bailey Wright started and played 72 minutes in Bristol City's 1-1 draw with Birmingham City.
In League One action Ryan Edwards played a full match and got an assist for Burton Albion in their 2-1 win over Gillingham. Mark Milligan played a full game for Southend United in a 3-1 loss to Blackpool. Harry Souttar played a full 90 minutes for Fleetwood Town in their 2-1 win over AFC Wimbledon.
In League Two Jack Iredale was an unused sub for Carlisle United in their 3-2 loss to Swindon Town for whom Jordan Lyden played a full game.
In the English youth leagues Tyrese Francois played a full match as Fulham U23 lost 3-0 to West Ham United U23.
Caleb Watts started and played 72 minutes for Southampton U18 as they went down 3-2 to Aston Villa U18.
