In the English Premier League Mat Ryan played a full match and Aaron Mooy started and played 65 minutes in Brighton's 2-0 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Ryan turned out a terrific performance denying a number of half chances for the hosts while Mooy got his second Premier League start for Brighton.

In the Championship Massimo Luongo came on in the 41st minute for Sheffield Wednesday as they shocked Middlesborough winning 4-1 away. All four goals were scored before Luongo got onto the pitch.
Jared Gillett refereed Jackson Irvine's 2-2 draw with Cardiff City as the Aussie played a full match.
Bailey Wright is back from injury as he managed to make the bench for Bristol City as they drew 3-3 with his former club Preston North End.

In Scotland Tom Rogic played 90 minutes and scored and got an assist for Celtic in their 5-0 thrashing of Partick Thistle in the Scottish League Cup quarter final. He was an unused sub in a 1-1 draw with Hibernian later in the week. Lyndon Dykes also played 90 minutes in Livingston's 1-0 loss to Rangers in the cup.

In English League One action Harry Souttar played 90 minutes for Fleetwood Town as they defeated Shrewsbury Town 3-0 which saw Jason Cummings play an hour.
Mark Milligan played a full game as Southend United lost 1-0 at home to Accrington Stanley while Ryan Williams only saw the the first half in Porstmouth's 1-0 win against Bolton Wanderers.
In League Two Cameron Burgess was also taken off at half time when Salford City were down 3-0 with the game ending 4-0 to Forest Green. Jack Iredale played 90 minutes for Carlisle United in a 1-0 win Oldham Athletic.
In the English Youth Leagues Tyrese Francois played a full game as Fulham U23 lost 4-2 at home to Middlesborough U23.
EUROPE
In Germany Mathew Leckie was an unused sub for Hertha Berlin as they smashed FC Koln 4-0 away. It was Leckie's first match back for Hertha in three weeks. Brandon Borrello was also unused for Freiburg as they picked up a 2-1 win away to Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Christian Theoharous played 90 minutes while Jacob Italiano was an unused sub as Borussia Mönchengladbach defeated Berg II 2-0. Joshua Laws played a full match for Fortuna Dusseldorf II as they drew 0-0 with Fortuna Koln.
Noah Botic played 76 minutes and scored for Hoffenheim U19 as they defeated FC Ingolstadt U19 3-0.
In the Netherlands Ajdin Hrustic started and played 70 minutes for FC Groningen as they lost 2-0 away to Ajax.
Dylan Ryan played a full game while Luca Da Silva was absent for Willem II U21 as they defeated Excelsior U21 2-0.
In Austria Jimmy Jeggo played 90 minutes as Austria Wien lost 4-1 to Red Bull Salzburg. James Holland scored his second goal in two weeks as he helped LASK Linz to a 3-0 victory over St. Polten.
In Denmark Mustafa Amini played 90 minutes, Zach Duncan was a 58th minute susbstite while Alex Gersbach was unused as AGF defeated Nordsjællend 3-0.
Awer Mabil was absent due to a late injury as FC Midtjylland were shocked 1-0 at home losing to OB. Antonis Martis played 68 minutes for Midtjylland U19 as they lost 2-0 to Copenhagen U19.
In Croatia Fran Karacic played 90 minutes in NK Lokomotiv Zagreb's humiliating 4-0 Zagreb derby loss to Dinamo.
In Serbia Milos Degenek scored the opening goal in Red Star Belgrade's 3-1 win away to Vozdovac. Later in the week Degenek played 90 minutes in another 3-1 win against Macva Sabac.
Deni Juric played a full game for NK Rudes as they drew 2-2 with Hajduk Split II while Kyle Cimenti was unused for NK Kustosija.
In Cyprus Apostolos Giannou played a full game as AEK Larnaca drew 0-0 at home with Apollon Limassol.
In Isreal Nikita Rukavytsya played 76 minutes and scored for Maccabi Haifa in their 3-0 victory over Netanya. Trent Sainsbury was absent due to injury.
In Turkey Aziz Behich was still sidelined for Gael Clichy as he remained an unused sub in Basaksehir's 5-0 win over Rizespor.
In Norway Joe Caletti played 90 minutes for Floro SK as they stole a 1-0 win at home to Alta.

In Korea Adam Taggart was benched for Suwon Bluewings 2-0 loss away to Jeonbuk Hyundai for whom Bernie Ibini was absent.
Rashid Mahazi was on the scoresheet for Incheon United as they drew 2-2 with Gangwon. Jason Davidson made his first matchday squad for Ulsan Hyundai as they defeated Seongnam 1-0.

In Japan Ange Postecoglou's Yokohama F Marinos drew 1-1 with Vegalta Sendai. Kashima Antlers have overtaken Yokohama into second. Mitchell Langerak played 90 minutes for Nagoya Grampus as they drew 1-1 with Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
In Saudi Arabia Craig Goodwin was taken off in stoppage time as Al Wehda defeated Al Fateh 2-0 at home. Goodwin's side are currently in third place.
Brad Jones kept a clean sheet for Al Nassr in a 0-0 draw with Al Ahli in his 30th Saudi League match.
In Qatar Shane Lowry played a full game for Al Ahli as they lost 3-1 to Al Rayaan.
In Hong Kong Travis Major scored for Southern District RSA as they drew 1-1 with Yuen Long. Charles Lokolingoy played the first half and Michael Glassock played 63 minutes as Sun Pegasus lost 2-1 at home to Hong Kong Rangers.
