In Israel Nikita Rukavytsya and Trent Sainsbury both scored for Maccabi Haifa in a dominant 5-0 win over Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Rukavytsya has now scored six goals in six matches throwing him in contention for a Socceroos spot with Graham Arnold putting the 32-year old on his radar. 

In Germany Mat Leckie and Brandon Borrello were both absent from their respective Bundesliga clubs, making Socceroos fans anxious at their lack of minutes heading into the next international window. 

Leckie has had injury problems and played just over 200 minutes this season while Borrello has played almost 300. 

Noah Botic scored and played 82 minutes as Hoffenheim U19 beat Ulm U19. Jacob Italiano played 90 minutes while Christian Theoharous was an unused sub for Borussia Mönchengladbach II, beating SV Lippstadt 2-0. 

In Cyprus Apostolos Giannou was absent from AEK Larnaca as they beat their rivals APOEL Nicosia 1-0. 

In Croatia Fran Karacic played a full game for NK Lokomotiva as they lost 1-0 to Hajduk Split for whom Anthony Kalik didn't appear.

In the Netherlands Ajdin Hrustic was back in the starting XI for FC Groningen after two weeks on the bench. he played 90 minutes as his side beat Vitesse Arnhem 1-0. 

In Turkey Aziz Behich was absent from Basaksehir as they drew 1-1 with Sivasspor away from home. Behich is another player struggling for game time after losing his spot at left-back to Gael Clichy.  

In Italy Gabriel Cleur played 90 minutes for US Alessandria in a 2-1 loss to Giana Erminio while Nick Pennington was absent from Olbia's 2-1 win over Carrarese.
