Golgol Mebrahtu could be set for a first league start at Sparta Praha after scoring in their 3-1 friendly win over Loko Vltavin. Brent McGrath played a full match and scored a brace in Esbjerg FC's 11-1 friendly win against Usserod IK. 

Defender Nicholas Pennington was in Serie C action playing a full match in Olbia Calcio's 1-0 loss to Cagliari. Andrew Paraskevas was absent from Banik Ostrava II's squad in a 3-2 loss in the Juniorska Liga. 

Inter Zapresic left out Steven Lustica from their matchday squad in a 2-1 loss to Slaven Belupo in the HNL.1. 

FC Schalke 04's latest acquisition George TImotheou played a full match and score his first goal for Schalke U23 in a 2-1 victory over TuS Haltern in the Oberliga. 

Former Melbourne Victory starley Christian Theoharous was an unused sub in Borussia Mönchengladbach II's side that drew 0-0 with Kaan-Marienborn for whom John-Anton Buceto was also an unused sub. Joshua Laws played a full match in Fortuna Dusseldorf II's 2-1 victory against Viktoria Koln in the Regionalliga West.

Sebastian Pasquali was an unused substitute for Jong Ajax as they recorded a 1-1 draw over Den Bosch in the Eerste Divisie. Brothers Declan and Ryan Lambert were absent from Den Bosch's match day squad.

Former Socceroo Scott Chipperfield's young son Liam Chipperfield scored twice in FC Basel U15's 4-1 victory over FC Zurich. 

UK 

In League One action Cameron Burgess played a full match in a thrilling 3-3 draw away to Brad Inman's Rochdale for which he was missing from the squad. Socceroo Ryan Mcgowan played a full match for Bradford City in a 3-2 loss away to Blackpool. Ashley Maynard-Brewer and Ryan Blumberg were absent from Charlton Athletic's math day squad in their 3-2 win over Wycombe Wanderers. 

Louis Khoury was absent from Blackburn Rovers U18's squad as they were pummelled 6-0 by Con Ouzinidis Everton U18's who was didn't feature. Ben Folami was missing from Ipswich Town U23's team that defeated Birmingham City earlier in the week while Kai Cldebrank-Park was also missing from Burnley U18's match day squad. 

16-year old defender Riley Warland made his debut for Fulham U18 playing a full match in their 4-1 loss to West-Ham United. 

Harry Kewell still has some work to do with his new club Notts County as they went down 5-1 to Exeter City in the English League Two. 

Jimmy Oates played 120 minutes and saw Exeter progress to the next stage of the EFL Cup in a 4-3 penalty shoot-out triumph away to Yeovil Town. Oates was rested for Exeter's 5-1 victory over Kewell's Notts County. 

Lyndon Dykes continued his scoring form with another goal in a 4-3 sin in the Scottish Challenge Cup for Queen of the South over Crusaders F.C. Ryan Edwards didn't feature for Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup as his side were knocked out 2-1 by East Fife. Tom Beadling was also missing fro Dunfermline Athletic's squad as they were knocked out of the cup, going down 5-6 in a penalty shoot-out to Boreham Wood. Chris Duggan played a full match for Raith Rovers who were also knocked out of the Scottish Cup, losing 5-0 to Ross County. 

ASIA 

Bernie Ibini-Isei scored on his debut for Emirates Club last week but was absent from the match day squad in a 1-0 loss to Al-Nasr in the Arabian Gulf League. Last week Mat Jurman made his debut. playing a full match for new club Al-Ittihad and played a full match again as they went down 1-0 to Al-Shabab. 

Buriram United went down 1-0 to Chiangrai United in the Thai League but Chris Herd was missing from the match day squad. He is yet to make an appearance in the league but has made five cup appearances. 

Aleksander Jovanovic was an unused sub for Jeju United who drew 0-0 with Suwon Bluewings in the K-League. 

Jason Geria was missing from the JEF United Chiba squad as they recorded a crucial away win over Yokohama. Ange Postecoglou has turned the fortunes of Yokohama F Marinos around starting with triumph in the J-League Cup. Yokohama thumped Gamba Osaka 4-0 away in the first leg and finished the tie 7-1 on aggregate after finishing the job 3-1 at home.

NORTH AMERICA 

In the USL, Antonee Burke-Gilroy played a full match for Seattle Sounders II who went down 3-0 away to Sacramento Republic.
