Red cards in Italy and Holland, goals in the UK plus Champions League and Europa League action is underway. Here is FTBL's weekly wrap up of our Aussies Abroad.
EUROPE
In the UEFA Champions League, Trent Sainsbury and Aziz Behich were both unused subs as PSV lost 4-0 to Barcelona at the Camp Nou. Milos Degenek started and played a full match for Crvena Zvezda as they drew 0-0 with Napoli.
In the UEFA Europa League, Tom Rogic started and played 55 minutes for Celtic as they defeated Rosenborg 1-0 while Alex Gersbach was an unused sub for the Norwegians. Danny Vukovic kept a clean sheet against Malmo as Genk won 2-0. Apo Giannou played a full game for AEK Larnaca who lost 1-0 to FC Zurich.
In Serie C action Nick Pennington started and played until the 75h minute for Olbia Calcio as they beat Albissola 3-2. He also played a full match against Pro Patria in a 2-1 win later in the week. Gabriel Cleur started and was sent off in the 75th minute as his Virtus Entella beat Gozzano 3-1. Giancarlo Galifuoco scored a last minute winner for Rieti as they beat Casertana 2-1. Reno Piscopo started and played 65 minutes for Renate as they drew 1-1 with Vicenza
In Serbian football Milos Degenek started and played a full match as Crvena Zvezda drew 1-1 with Partizan. Dejan Pandurevic was missing from FK Zemun's squad that drew 2-2 with Backa. Andrew Marveggio was an unused sub for Macva Sabac in their 1-0 loss to Rad Beograd.
In Germany, Mat Leckie was back in training but still absent from Hertha BSC's squad as they defeated Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-2. Brandon Borello is still out injured although his Freiburg defeated Woflsburg 3-1. Robbie Kruse started and played 88 minutes for VFL Bochum who drew 2-2 with Holstein Kiel. Kwame Yeboah started and played 90 minutes for Fortuna Koln as they drew 3-3 with Kaiserslautern. Yeboah also completed 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw against Lotte.
