In English league Two action, Harry Kewell is still searching for his first win as Notts County boss as they drew 0-0 with Northampton.
In the English youth leagues, Ben Folami played a full game for Ipswich Town U23s who beat Watford U23s 2-0. Ashley Maynard-Brewer was an unused sub while Ryan Blumberg played a full game for Charlton U23s in a 2-0 loss to Colchester City U23. Riley Warland played a full match for Fulham U18 and scored in a 3-1 loss to Leicester U18.
In the Scottish SPFL, Tom Rogic was an unused sub as Celtic lost 2-1 to Kilmarnock. Jamie Maclaren was absent from the squad while Mark Milligan played 90 minutes for Hibernian in their 3-0 win over Dundee who played Jesse Curran for 44 minutes off the bench. Andy Rose was an unused sub while Ben Garuccio started and played 52 minutes for Hearts in their 0-0 draw with Livingston. Andy Rose was absent from Motherwell's squad as they lost 1-0 to Aberdeen. Ryan Edwards played a full match for St Mirren in a 3-0 loss to Hamilton.
Daniel Arzani played a full match and scored a free-kick while Leo Mazis was an unused sub for Celtic Academy in a 2-0 win over Abrdeen.
In the Scottish League, Tom Beadling was an unused sub in a 1-1 draw against Greenock Morton for whom Jack Iredale played 46 minutes. Lyndon Dykes played a full game in a 3-2 loss to Partick Thistle.
ASIA
In Japan, Ange Postecoglou secured another win away to Jubilo Iwata taking Yokohama F Marinos to 12th in the league table. Mitch Duke was absent from Shimizu S-Pulse's squad as they lost 2-1 to Gamba Osaka. Mitch Langerak played 90 minutes as Nagoya Grampus lost 3-1 to Kawasaki Frontale. Pierce Waring played a full game and scored the winner for Cerezo Osaka U23s in a 2-1 win over Kitakyushu. Jason Geria was absent from JEF United Chiba's squad.
In K-League Classic action Kwabena Appiah Kubi came on in the 67th minute as Incheon lost 1-0 to Connor Chapman's Pohang Steelers for which he played a full game. Both picked up a booking in the dying moments of the game. Aleksander Jovanovic started and played a full game for Jeju in a 2-2 draw against Gangwon who were missing Dylan McGowan. James Donachie was also absent from Jeonnam Dragons 1-0 win over Ulsan Hyundai.
Jack Duncan and Rhys Williams both played full games for Al-Qadisiyah as they lost 3-0 to Brad Jones Al-Nassr who took home the clean sheet. Mat Jurman played a full game for Al-Ittihad in a 5-3 loss to Al-Taawoun.
NORTH AMERICA
in the MLS, Brad Smith played a full game in a 1-0 loss to Philadelphia Union. Antonee Burke-Gilroy and Jesse Daley both played 90 minutes for Seattle Sounders II in the USL as they lost 3-0 to RGV Taros.
