In the Championship Mile Jedinak was an unused sub as Aston Villa beat Swansea 1-0. Bailey Wright was absent for Bristol City as they lost 1-0 to Brentford. Jackson Irvine played a full match for Hull City in their 1-1 draw with Preston North End. Adam Federici was an unused sub for Stoke City who lost 1-0 to Birmingham City. Massimo Luongo played a full match in QPR's 2-0 away win over Ipswich Town. James Meredith started and played 69 minutes for Millwall as they lost 3-1 to Reading. Ryan Williams played a full game for Rotherham as they drew 1-1 with Bolton Wanderers.
In English League One action Ryan McGowan played a full game while Brad Inman was absent as Bradford City lost 2-0 to Rochdale. Kenny Dougall played a full match for Barnsley in a 2-0 loss to Charlton Athletic. Cameron Burgess was an unused sub for Scunthorpe United as they lost 3-2 to Wycombe Wanderers.
Harry Kewell's Notts County suffered a disheartening 4-0 defeated to Bury over the weekend following an undefeated spell.
In the English youth leagues Callum Elder played a full match for Leicester City U23 as they lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur U23 for whom Tom Glover was an unused sub. Kai Caldebrank-Park was an unused sub for Burnley U18 as they defeated Hull City U18 3-1. Tyrese Francois played a full game for Fulham U23 that lost 3-0 to West Brom U23. Jacob Young played 90 minutes for Sunderland U23 as they were defeated 3-0 by Manchester United U23. Liam Driscoll and Joel Rollinson were both unused subs as Reading U23 defeated Middlesborough U23 3-2. Cameron McGilp played 79 minutes and hit the crossbar for Birmingham City U23 as they beat Nottingham Forest U23 1-0. Riley Warland played a full game for Fulham U18 as they beat Brighton U18 2-1.
In the SPFL it was a battle of the Aussies as Celtic took on Hibernian. Tom Rogic scored a belter for Celtic and played 72 minutes while Mark Milligan started and played 71 minutes, Jamie Maclaren made his return from injury with three minutes off the bench and Martin Boyle scored and assisted for Hibernian as Celtic ran away 4-2 victors.

Oli Bozanic played a full game while Ben Garuccio was an unused sub for Hearts as they beat Aberdeen 2-1. Andy Rose played a full game as Motherwell lost 1-0 to St Johnstone. Ryan Edwards played 18 minutes off the bench for St Mirren as they lost 2-1 to Kilmarnock.
In the Scottish League Tom Beadling was an unused sub for Dunfermline Athletic as they lost 1-0 to Queen of the South for whom Lyndon Dykes played a full match. Jack Iredale played the last two minutes for Greenock Morton's 1-0 win over Falkirk.
