The final Aussie was knocked out of European competition this week despite scoring while our Aussies in England were in favour on another match day of Aussies Abroad.
ASIA
In Japan, Ange Postecoglou's Yokohama F Marinos drew 2-2 with Kawasaki Frontale. Andrew Nabbout started and played a full game for Urawa Red Diamonds in their 1-0 win over Matsumoto Yamaga. Mitchell Langerak was between the sticks for Nagoya Grampus as they won 3-2 against Gamba Osaka away from home. Jason Geria was absent from JEF's squad that lost 5-2 to Renofa Yamaguchi.
In Korea Bernie Ibini was absent from Jeonbuk Hyundai's squad that beat Suwon Bluewings 4-0 who subbed on Adam Taggart in the 26th minute. Aleksander Jovanovic played a full game for Jeju in a 2-0 loss to Daegu. Nick Ansell made his starting debut for Jeonnam Dragons but was substituted off with an injury in the first half.
In Saudi Arabia Jack Duncan and Rhys Williams played full matches in a 2-1 loss for Al Qadisiyah against Al Ahli. Brad Jones was in goals for Al Nassr as they recorded a 3-2 win over Al Ettifaq. Milos Degenek completed 90 minutes for Al Hilal in their 1-1 draw with Al Wehda.
In Kuwait Nick Olsen played a full game for Al Jahra as they drew 0-0 with Al Nasr.
NORTH AMERICA
Brad Smith played a full match for Seattle Sounders in a 2-0 win over Colorado Rapids. Andy Rose played a full game for Vancouver Whitecaps as they lost 1-0 to Real Salt Lake.
