In the Championship, Mile Jedinak started and played 78 minutes for Aston Villa as they drew 1-1 with Leeds United. Aaron Mooy played a full match for Huddersfield as they drew 1-1 with Blackburn Rovers. Jackson Irvine played a full match for Burton Albion, scoring the winning goal in a 2-1 win over Rotherdam United. Ryan Williams was on the bench for Barnsley FC as they lost 2-2 with Birmingham City.

In League One, Chris Herd was on the bench for Gillingham FC as they lost 2-1 to Millwall. Andy Rose played a full match for Coventry City as they drew 1-1 with Peterborough United where Bradden Inman was on the bench.  Cameron Burgess played a full match for Oldham Athletic as they lost 1-0 to Fleetwood Town.
