LISBON, March 12 (SuperLiga) - Benfica have moved back to within four points of SuperLiga leaders Porto with a 2-0 win over Uniao Leiria on Monday night.
Portugal internationals Sabrosa Simao and Armando Petit scored in either half to give the hosts all three points.
The win puts Benfica on 48 points, with leaders Porto on 52 and third-placed Sporting on 43.
Uniao Leiria are seventh with 29 points.
