Inter Milan coach Rafael Benitez goes into Saturday's game at Chievo feeling under pressure after his team's poor run of form this season.

The Nerazzurri have won just once in their last six league games and Serie A leaders AC Milan went six points clear of Inter after beating them 1-0 last weekend.

Inter president Massimo Moratti has said the manager's job is safe, despite having a crisis talk on Wednesday.

"There is absolutely no drastic decision," Moratti said. "We have chosen this project and it will go forward. I have full confidence in Benitez.

"That, however, does not mean that I can't be disappointed after Sunday's derby defeat, but this does not change the club projects in any way."

Following the game at Verona, Inter take on Dutch outfit FC Twente in the Champions League next week.

According to media speculation in Italy, defeats in both games could prove costly for Benitez, who replaced Jose Mourinho this summer.

The mood in AC Milan's camp is in stark contrast.

The Rossoneri host Fiorentina on Saturday on the back of three straight wins and top Serie A by one point from Lazio after 12 games played.

The absence of injured strikers Alexandre Pato and Filippo Inzaghi has not hindered the Rossoneri, with former Inter star Zlatan Ibrahimovic giving the team scoring punch.

Anything but a win for Milan could see Lazio regain top spot, provided Edy Reja's men win at Parma.

Victory at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium on Sunday could see Genoa join Juventus on 20 points.

The arrival of coach Davide Ballardini in Genoa earlier this month has brought a change in fortunes, with the Grifoni winning their last two league games.

Sixth-place Roma host Udinese on Saturday with their minds set on next week's Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

The Giallorossi have yet to lose a league game at the Stadio Olimpico this season.

Bari will be without top scorer Paulo Vitor Barreto when they make the journey to Sicily to face Catania.

Barreto will be sidelined for four weeks after sustaining a right thigh injury in last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Parma.

Roberto Donadoni coaches Cagliari for the first time at Brescia.

Donadoni replaced Pierpaolo Bisoli, who was sacked after Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Genoa.

Lecce and Sampdoria will battle it out at the Via del Mare stadium with both sides having won just once in their last five games.

Palermo, who last weekend romped to a 3-1 win over Catania to climb to seventh, visit Cesena.

Bologna have yet to win on the road this season as they travel to Napoli, who have lost twice in a row at home.
