BESIKTAS missed the chance to go above Fenerbahce into second place in the Super Lig table as they were held to a goalless draw at home to Trabzonspor.
The result leaves the Black Eagles a point behind Fener and four adrift of leaders Bursaspor, having played a game more.
Istanbul Buyuksehir moved up to sixth with a 3-1 win away to Antalyaspor. Tevfik Kose gave the visitors the lead on the stroke of half-time but Yalcin Ayhan levelled for Antalyaspor in the 53rd minute.
Buyuksehir restored their lead 11 minutes later through Ali Guzeldal and Iskender Alin wrapped up the win with 20 minutes to go.
