GOLD Coast coach Miron Bleiberg freely admitted his side fell short in Saturday's disappointing 2-1 loss to North Queensland Fury but believes United still have plenty to play for.
United missed their chance of pushing for a top two spot after they were beaten 2-1 by North Queensland in Townsville on Saturday night, with the Fury producing a strong display.
Bleiberg was quick to concede Gold Coast's northern rivals were deserved of their victory.
"We misfired tonight and there is no doubt that the better team won - we have no complaints," Bleiberg said.
The loss meant Gold Coast finished third on the A-League table after the regular season, but Bleiberg insists there's still more to come.
"We have still had a very good season for our first year and there is still have plenty to play for in the Finals Series.
"Every game is do-or-die now and we will have to get back to our best."
Gold Coast will host Newcastle Jets in their semi-final clash next weekend.
