Omid Ebrahimi's goal saw Sepahan win the first quarter-final encounter against the Qataris 1-0 in Esfahan but they were subsequently found to have fielded an ineligible player, Rahman Ahmadi, and the Asian Football Confederation subsequently awarded Al Sadd a 3-0 victory.

"Tomorrow anything is possible," said Bonacic.

"We have had a good preparation for tomorrow's game. It will be a tough match. After the AFC ruling, we are motivated to win this for our fans. We are definitely motivated to do well," he said.

"We were angry but rules are rules. It just happened. Now it is not a good situation but I would say anything is possible in the future.

"What can I say? He (Ahmadi) played with yellow cards. I can't say anything besides this. Right now we are concentrating on this game.

"We will give our best. We will show we can play football. I feel normal and my players feel the same way."

Although Al Sadd now suddenly find themselves in a position of strength, coach Jorge Fossati insisted there will be no difference in the Qataris approach to the contest.

"In terms of preparation and plans, nothing has changed for us. We are going to play aggressive football that can help us win this match," said the Uruguayan.

"I told my players that we have to win. I said this when we were about to play the first leg. I said the same thing yesterday. I told them to respect their job and we will win.

"The only thing that has changed is the situation and thank God for that."

Meanwhile, Sepahan welcome Suwon Bluewings to the Foolad Shahr Stadium with their quarter-final clash finely balanced at 1-1.

"We will undoubtedly have a very difficult clash as Suwon have come to win the game, meaning that we should not think about a draw," said boss Mansour Ebrahimzadeh.

"We should try our best to defeat Suwon tomorrow afternoon to seal our spot in the next round. That's the only option we have at the moment.

"Fortunately, we have now better information and knowledge about our Korean rivals. If you expect me to predict the result here in the press conference, I should let you know that results are not defined in meetings with the media. This would be impossible."

Suwon may be slight underdogs but manager Yoon Sung-hyo is confident they can emerge triumphant in Iran.

"We have a tough match ahead but I believe in my players' abilities and we should win tomorrow as we have no other choice in front of us," said Yoon.

"We played a good match in the first leg but we were unlucky and we deserved to score more goals.

"Tomorrow we will be in for a tough game and whichever team creates better chances can win the game."
